The inaugural Diriyah Tennis Cup in Riyadh is about to start with a staggering prize money

Stan Wawrinka, Daniil Medvedev, Gael Monfils, John Isner, Fabio Fognini are among the top players that will compete in the upcoming and inaugural Diriyah Tennis Cup in Riyadh.

The event will take place on 12-14 December. This is the draw:

About the Diriyah Arena

Prince Abdulaziz, the fourth son of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, opened the venue by performing the first serve. The Arena has 15,000 seats and according to reports it was build in just 2 months.

Prince Abdulaziz commented: “I am personally so excited to welcome an amazing line-up of some of the very best tennis players on the planet to Saudi Arabia. Tennis joins a spectacular season of world-class sport, entertainment, music and culture to Diriyah.

The total prize money is a staggering $3 million. After Riyadh, Medvedev and Monfils will head to Abu Dhabi to play the Mubadala World Tennis Championship.
