It has been two years since Serena Williams gave birth to her daughter Alexis Olympia and it seems like she is already planning to have her next baby.
In an interview, the American tennis legend has said that she wants to have more children, specifically a boy. According to her, she wants her children to be closer in age because it is how it is with her and her sister Venus. The two tennis superstars’ ages are only separated by 15 months.
However with Williams on a busy schedule because of the tennis season and business endeavors, it may take a while before she will have her second child. But she seems optimistic about having another child soon.
Williams’ marriage to Alexis Ohanian
Meanwhile, Williams recently celebrated her second anniversary with tech mogul Alexis Ohanian. During the November 17 celebration, the 23-time Grand Slam champ posted a candid photo of them during their wedding reception on Instagram. In the caption, she said that even two years into their marriage, the Reddit founder is still being patient with her.
She also posted a slideshow of some cute pictures of them. This includes one that shows Ohanian wearing a pink wig. In another photo, it displays them posing together with Alexis Olympia during her friend Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry.
On the other hand, Ohanian did not miss the opportunity to also express his love for his wife. On his own Instagram account, he posted a picture of Williams lounging behind him as he is wearing a tux. He wrote that he is always ready for the next time they will bond together, whether it is a black tie event or just a stay-in night.
During the anniversary itself, Ohanian also indulged his wife by ordering Popeyes chicken sandwiches for her. Williams, who is usually on a strict diet, relished the chance to cheat on her usual diet program.
It can be recalled that Williams and Ohanian married each other in November 2017. The wedding, held in New Orleans, had a star-studded attendance that included Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, and Anna Wintour.

Serena’s relationship with Venus
As to her relationship with her sister, Williams has mentioned that she always had a good relationship with the seven-time Grand Slam winner. She said that she loved how she is always learning something new about her sister. She praised her sister, even calling Venus her lifetime partner.
Venus echoed the sentiment. Last year, when she was asked if she had a woman whose career she admired, she did not hesitate in saying her sister’s name. She also added that they motivate each other both in and out of the court.

Ranked no.10, Serena played her last match on the 7th of September when she was overcome by Bianca Vanessa Andreescu 6-3 7-5 in the final in U.S. Open.
