This is Jannik Sinner’s incredibly hectic 2020 schedule

The young Italian plans to play a lot of tournaments in 2020

Jannik Sinner is arguably one of the most interesting upcoming players on the ATP Tour and he is eager to consolidate his “status” with a busy schedule.

The Italian ended his 2019 in the best possible way after winning the Next Gen finals and conquering the home challenger in Ortisei. Jannik revealed that he was very focused on having a “tough” off season to prepare his body for a great 2020.

Sinner’s schedule

Jannik will commence the new season playing the Challenger in Canberra (6th of January) before playing the Australian Open where he will have direct access to the main draw thanks to his ranking.

After that, Jannik will play in Montpellier, Rotterdam, Marseille, Indian Wells, Miami, Montecarlo, Munich, Madrid, Rome, and Roland Garros.

That means that the young Italian will play 12 tournaments before the grass season, and that is a lot of tennis!

Ranked no.78 (career-high), Sinner played his last match on the 17th of November when he defeated Sebastian Ofner 6-2 6-4 in the final in Ortisei Challenger to win his 0th career title.

This year Sinner has a 47-20 win-loss record. Sinner conquered 4 titles in 2019 in the Bergamo Challenger, in the Lexington Challenger, in Milan and in the Ortisei Challenger. Jannik was the finalist in the Ostrava Challenger.
