Sascha Bajin to coach Dayana Yastremska

Dayana Yastremska announces that Naomi Osaka’s former coach, Sascha Bajin, will join her team.

Sascha Bajin is one of the most interesting coaches on tour. The German was the key for Naomi Osaka blossoming after he spent countless years being the hitting partner of the great Serena Williams. Sascha was abruptly fired by Naomi Osaka for unknown reasons soon after she won the Australian Open. Later he joined Kristina Mladenovic, and he did an excellent job in helping the Frenchwoman to find again her best tennis. However, this time, it was Bajin to decide to part ways with Kiki.

There was a lot of mystery about his next move. According to some, he was bound to rejoin Naomi Osaka while, according to others, he was destined to help Kim Clijsters in staging a miraculous comeback.

Eventually, Dayana came out with the announcement about their partnership to comment:

“I am very happy to share the news that I am starting 2020 season with the new coach! I am extremely happy, and I am very excited to start our collaboration as it is going to be very interesting and impressive work.

I am confident that he can help me in achieving my ambitions. Super excited for the beginning of our preseason preparation and I am confident that everything works out!”

Sascha won the WTA award as the coach of the year back in 2018.

Всем привет! Я очень рада поделиться с вами новостью о том, что в сезон 2020 я вхожу с новым тренером Сашей Бажином!…
