It’s Venus again!!!
After so many troubles the 32 years old is back to win another single career title. The first after winning Acapulco in February 2010.
It wasn’t the most difficult match as the American conceded only 5 games to her opponent. The difference between the two players in terms of experience and sheer tennis was just too much.

“Coming to the tournament this week I was just trying to play well,” Williams said “I didn’t know if I could win this event, so to stand here as the winner is a wonderful way for me to end the year, and it really makes me look forward to next year as well.”
“My main goal coming here was to make the top 32 and be seeded going into the Australian Open,” Williams added. “Wherever I end up, it’s just very rewarding to win here after facing a lot of challenges.”
With this title Venus will climb 17 positions to become world no.24.
