Alexander Zverev and Roger Federer have been enjoying a rather healthy relationship. The Swiss Maestro loves mentoring Sascha every now and then, and Roger’s management agency has just started a partnership with the German.

Sascha and Roger are now touring in Latin America, where they will play 5 exhibition matches in 7 days in Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and Ecuador.

The pair has already started the typical round of press-conference and both Roger and Sascha had to answer to a question that Federer had to deal with for the last 8 or 9 years: “When are you going to retire?”

Sascha shared his idea about having Roger on tour as much as possible to comment:

“All of us players, most of the time we lose to him, but we still hope he doesn’t retire.

We still want him as much as possible, and we still want to have him on tour, in the locker room, in the player restaurant, just have him around because he is just generally a great guy. We will see how much longer it lasts, only Roger can answer this question.

But we, especially me, you were always my idol growing up. I still very much enjoy playing against him and having him around.”

The Swiss answered: “My retirement is going to depend on my health. At this moment, I see no reason to stop.”
