Stefanos Tsitsipas is having a great run at the ATP Finals in London, where he qualified for the semifinals.

The Greek impressed after dismissing Sascha Zverev and Daniil Medvedev in straight sets, and he also played well in the 3rd match against Rafael Nadal. Eventually, it was the Spaniard to prevail, but Stefanos competed at the same level for almost 3 hours.

The Laver Cup is my favorite tournament. TSITSIPAS

It’s interesting to notice that the 4 semifinalists (Federer, Tsitsipas, Thiem, and Zverev) were part of Team Europe that won the last edition of the Laver Cup. During a recent interview, Stefanos said why he loved playing at the Laver Cup to comment:

“The lunches and dinners we had together, we had a lot of fun with Roger, Rafa, Fabio, Dominic, the whole team, Roberto, as well, who was alternate.

We had a fantastic time together. I learned a lot from all of them. I don’t know, they learned from me, too. I guess. I can tell you that the Laver Cup was my favorite tournament of the year. Because I didn’t learn as much in a tournament as in Laver Cup, and I’m really grateful that they made such an event because it’s the best thing for our game.”
