Dominic Thiem has finally managed to qualify for the semifinals of the season’s finale after defeating Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic back to back in the round-robin. The Austrian sensation then capitulated in his last match against Matteo Berrettini in straight sets, but that didn’t change much as he still qualified as the player no.1 of his group.

The biggest concern for Dominic is his health after he played an extremely long match against Djokovic and he has been battling with a cold for the entire week. Therefore, even if he definitely put an effort in his failed attempt to defeat Berrettini, one of his priorities was to avoid another battle to be ready for the semifinals on Saturday.

Thiem’s girlfriend not supporting him in London?

Dominic enjoys a fantastic relationship with his girlfriend Kiki Mladenovic. Their relationship became public when 2 years ago Kristina appeared in his box during the Finals. However, this time Kiki is not expected to cheer for him in his box in London since she is still celebrating the marvelous Fed Cup title that she conquered in Perth last weekend. Kiki has been parading with her team in Paris, where she also had the honor of meeting her President Emmanuel Macron.

Back to Dominic, he is still uncertain about who is going to be his opponent in the last 4 in London. He may face Rafael Nadal, Alexander Zverev, or Daniil Medvedev. His girlfriend may see the match on TV.
