Sascha Bajin will not coach Clijsters. Will he be back with Naomi Osaka after being… in Osaka?

Sascha announces that he will not help Kim Clijsters with her comeback as per some rumors. Will he be back with Naomi Osaka?

Sascha Bajin and Naomi Osaka

Sascha Bajin and Naomi Osaka enjoyed an amazing partnership as the German helped Naomi to rise at the top of the rankings after winning 2 slams (the Us Open and the Australian Open) and Indian Wells.

However, things got a weird turn, after Naomi and Sascha parted ways rather mysteriously after her triumph in Melbourne. That started a rather prolonged moment of “misery” for Naomi that wasn’t able to reach her huge potential with her new coach Jermaine Jenkins. Eventually, after Osaka fired the American, she found her way to win 11 consecutive matches and 2 straight titles in Osaka and Beijing. During this stint, Naomi was coached by her father. However, she always stated that that was a temporary arrangement, and later on, she would have hired a coach.

Bajin parting ways with Kiki Mladenovic

After splitting with Naomi, Sascha partnered with Kristina Mladenovic for a few months and the Frenchwoman started to record interesting results. However, out of the blue, the German decided not to continue his collaboration with Kiki that remained profoundly disappointed.

Many speculated that Bajin would have partnered with Naomi. Also, according to some rumors, Sascha had talks with Dayana Yastremska and Kim Clijsters. The Belgian was staging a sensational comeback that was later postponed because of a knee issue.

With a cryptic tweet, Sascha announced that he will not join Clijsters’ team. After his great partnership with Naomi and Bajin’s latest presence in Osaka it seems legit to think that something may come up soon. It’s speculations… but why not?
