He has fared poorly against the Russian, losing all the matches they have played in their careers. He called the 23-year-old’s game boring after his most recent loss in the semifinals of the Shanghai Masters. The two have had some bad blood in the past after Tsitsipas insulted the Russian after a match during the Miami Open.
