Naomi Osaka is taking a prolonged and well-deserved break after an overcomplicated season. The world no.3 started with her fantastic title in Melbourne to then struggle for the rest of the year. However, things changed dramatically after the US Open when she fired her coach Jermaine Jenkins to win back to back the events in Osaka and Beijing.
The Japanese sensation looked to be in top form also at the WTA Finals in Shenzhen after she defeated Petra Kvitova in 3 sets, but eventually she had to stop her run because of a shoulder injury.

Naomi decided to stay in Asia after Shenzhen and head to Japan to spend some quality time with her family. Here Naomi posts a funny video while she is in Hokkaido with her “fearless” parents. Naomi explains why she wants to be like them when saying “My parents have no fear. I hope one day I can be like them, I was stressed 😩😭”
