Bianca Andreescu

Bianca Andreescu had an outstanding year after she won prestigious titles such as Indian Wells, the Rogers Cup, and the US Open. Unfortunately, Bianca had also to deal with a number of injuries that made things a bit complicated. Eventually, the Canadian superstar had to halt her run at the WTA Finals after she injured her knee.

Andreescu and the Canadian fans

After winning the US Open, Bianca conquered the heart of her fellow Canadians and her presence is often requested all over the country. This year Bianca is invited to light Toronto’s tallest Christmas tree (108-feet-tall ) on Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m.

The event will take place at the Eaton Centre, and it will also feature electric violinist Dr. Draw and DJ 4KORNERS. Thousands of visitors are expected to attend.

Sheila Jennings, the mall’s general manager, commented:

“Our goal is to create memorable and share-worthy holiday experiences for our community. This year, we’re taking our tree lighting tradition to new heights.”

Bianca in Europe

Bianca is currently in Europe, where she enjoyed Paris before heading to Milan. Then she will be back in Toronto to light the Christmas tree. That’s the life of a superstar.
