Matteo will be making his first appearance in the ATP Finals in London. The world No.8 is set to play against Djokovic in his first group match before facing Roger Federer and Dominic Thiem in other matches.
This a dream come true for Berrettini, who in the past seven months was not even in the top 50 best-ranked tennis players in the world. Djokovic comes into the ATP Finals in London as the second-seeded player. He is in the Bjorn Group where he is also set to play the legendary Roger Federer, the current world number three. In 2019 the Serbian has won a total of two out of four Grand Slams and will be participating in this year’s tournament after winning his fifth Paris Masters title. Besides, he is also set to battle it out with Rafael Nadal for the tennis world number one rank, currently being held by the Spaniard.
