Jannik Sinner to join Djokovic, Dimitrov, Zverev, Auger Aliassime in Monte Carlo

Jannik Sinner

Jannik Sinner seems to be destined for greatness. The young Italian is barely 18, but he has already impressed for breaking in the top100 and showing off extremely aggressive and solid tennis. Jannik has also impressed with his effortless technique as he is able to blast huge shots from both wings without much strain.

Sinner moving to Monte Carlo like Djokovic, Dimitrov, Zverev, Auger Aliassime

Jannik was born in San Candido, a lovely village near the border of Austria. However, he needs to structure his life in a different way now that he is reaching stardom. Therefore he will move to Monte Carlo following the footsteps of other top players such as Novak Djokovic, Grigor Dimitrov, Alexander Zverev, and Felix Auger Aliassime. The reason is obvious as the Principality has an extremely favorable fiscal system. In addition, Monte Carlo has top facilities for training and is quite “central” to travel around Europe and the world.

Still, Jannik will always call San Candido as his home to comment:

“It’s beautiful there, you wake up every morning, and you have the mountains, it’s a paradise for me. I’m traveling a lot, and when I go home, it’s perfect for relaxing.

I’m still allowed to ski, but I go carefully. At Christmas, I always ski, but I go slowly, and my friends are always telling me to go faster. I could easily do that, but I think they are starting to understand now.”
