Even if they do not know each other that well, it seems that Frances Tiafoe is getting quite well along with his next opponent Jannik Sinner. They played each other a few weeks ago and it was the Italian to win 3 sets 6-4 3-6 6-3. Probably a new and healthy rivalry is about to start!

Ranked no.18 (career-high), the Australian played his last match on the 31st of October when he had to bow to Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3 6-4 in the 3rd round in Paris.
This year De Minaur has a 33-19 win-loss record. Alex has won 3 titles in 2019 in Sydney, in Atlanta and in Zhuhai. De Minaur was the finalist in Basel.
