The Aussie won the WTA Finals playing her fantastic tennis full of variations using a style that has been lost especially on the WTA Tour. The Australian dismissed Svitolina in straight sets alternating his great backhand slices with powerful shots from the baselines and classy volleys.

Another fascinating side of Asheilgh is that she is rather popular among her colleagues especially because of her great and humble attitude. The Australian is about to play the Fed Cup final against France to try to bring back the trophy at home after 45 years. The entire Australian team was watching Barty playing the Final in Shenzhen and Ajla Tomljanovic, one of her teammates and Matteo Berrettini’s girlfriend, commented:

Now the world no.1, Barty played her last match on the 3rd of November when she overcame Elina Svitolina 6-4 6-3 in the final in Shenzhen to win her 7th career title.
This year Ashleigh has a 52-12 win-loss record. The Australian has won 4 titles in 2019 in Miami, at the French Open, in Birmingham and in Shenzhen. Ashleigh was the finalist in Sydney and in Beijing.

Ranked no.51, Ajla played her last match on the 15th of October when she was defeated by Varvara Gracheva 6-3 6-2 in the 1st round in Moscow.
