Djokovic wants to be world no.1 by the end of 2012

Great great Nole. Losing with Murray in the US Open final didn’t make him depressed… at all!

The Serbian star will play Almagro in an exhibition match on his way to Shanghai.

“After being tired and traveling for a long time, it was very nice to see people who appreciated that we are coming” said the Serb about fans going to the airport to cheer him 6.30am in the morning.

Then talking about his aspirations to regain the world no.1 status he said “That’s one of the goals. Of course I want to be number one of the world again. It’s an ambition. It’s possible by the end of the year. I’ll try to focus on each tournament individually and see how it goes. I need to play really well because there are so many great players at the moment… so we’ll see.”
