Djokovic supports a Serbian kindergarten as Unicef Ambassador

Great Nole! He is a huge tennis champion and he is very supportive for the people in need. Few days ago his foundation raised a whopping 1.4 Millions during a charity dinner, now he is supporting a Serbian Kindergarten during a Unicef visit.

Nole is not new to these kind of initiatives as he has already visited various kindergartens and pre-shools in the past. The video refers to a visit he has made last year in Smederevo (it seems he is having a lot of fun with these children).

“I’ve seen today what a unique and special place kindergarten is,” he said. “It’s a supportive space where children can learn to think creatively and work collaboratively. It’s a space where they have the freedom to be imaginative, creative and practise skills.

“Quality kindergarten can bring out the best in every child and set them on a good path for life. We have a collective responsibility to ensure every child has this kind of opportunity, so that they can better navigate challenges and risks throughout life and become responsible parents and citizens.”

The “Beneath the Linden Trees” kindergarten has been founded by UNICEF wit the help of the Serbian government and it has received donations from Nole and IKEA.

“This is a place where both parents and grandparents are empowered and happy to see their children enjoy and thrive. I am glad to have contributed to that. I hope that others will join me as well,” said Djokovic.

Great stuff Nole… great stuff!
