The Canadian sensation had an outstanding run in 2019 after winning Indian Wells, Toronto and the US Open following thrilling final against Serena Williams. However, Andreescu is not done with the season and she would love to conquer the WTA Finals to get closer to the world no.1 rank.

Every player in this competition is a tough opponent. I’m really looking forward to what I can do against them. Hopefully, I can do good things. I played Svitolina and Pliskova once this year, so I kind of know what to expect. Simona, I’ve never played her, but I’ve looked up to her. It’ll be a really interesting match up, so I’m excited.”
