Kukushkin won the set after he broke the Spaniard in the 7^th (4-3) game. Pablo tried to stage a comeback breaking in the 10^th (5-5) game. Nonetheless, the Kazakhstani refused to give way before winning the set at the following breaker at 3.

2^nd set.
