Unfortunately, the Canadian ace had to withdraw from the ATP500 in Austria, and he will not take part in the last Master1000 in Paris and the Nextgen Finals. Felix still hopes to make it for the Davis Cup and join his dear friend Denis Shapovalov and Milos Raonic.

Today, the Canadian added:

“After talking with my team and doctors, we concluded that I wouldn’t be able to compete in the last two tournaments of the season. I’m sorry I can’t take part of the Rolex Paris Masters and the Next Gen ATP finals in Milan which are important encounters with the fans. I’m planning to be fit and ready for the Davis Cup finals in November. Thank you all for understanding. See you soon!”

Who will qualify for the Nextgen in Milan?

Since Tsitsipas is not expected to play in Milan and Felix is out, this is “good news” for Mikail Ymer from Sweden that would be the 7th player in line.
