Nick Kyrgios has another friend on tour: Casper Ruud!
The Australian had a rather tormented week this year in Rome after he was at the centre of a huge controversy following a podcast when he insulted Djokovic, Nadal, and Verdasco. Soon after, Kyrgios defaulted when he was playing Casper Ruud. The Norwegian couldn’t contain his happiness after the Australian defaulted, and that didn’t make their relationship any easier with Kyrgios making fun of him.
It’s not my problem he is an idiot on court
In an interview with Swedish tennis website Sportalen, Ruud explained why he celebrated on court to comment:
”It was nice to win. Whether I celebrated after the game or not? I do not care. I was happy and I got 90 points and $50,000 in prize money so why wouldn’t I celebrate? It’s his problem that he’s an idiot on court”

Kyrgios’s Reaction
Nick had a rather violent reaction on Twitter to comment:
“Hey @CasperRuud98 next time you have something to say, I would appreciate you say it to my face, I’m sure you wouldn’t run your mouth so much after that. Until then I will continue to rather watch paint dry then watch you play tennis, boring af.”
Then he added
“But again, I also understand why you have to keep my name in your mouth, because people dont even realise that you play tennis goodluck in Milan champ x”
