Naomi Osaka has captured the imagination of the fans all over the world after winning 2 back to back slams coming almost from nowhere. The Japanese sensation has now 5 titles under her belt after winning the US Open, the Australian Open, Indian Wells, Beijing, and her hometown tournament in Osaka.

Naomi is a “superhero” now in her country, and Japanese watch manufacturer Citizen Watch “officialized” her “special status” by launching a new original promotional superhero character named “Naomi” designed by the Marvel Comics.

Osaka is the brand ambassador of Citizen Watch, and she was flattered by the initiative to comment:
