15-year-old Cori Gauff has a mesmerizing run in Linz. After losing in the qualifications, she got to the main draw from the “back door’ as a lucky loser. Eventually, the American didn’t miss the chance to have a fantastic run and reach the final after scoring her first top10 win following her victory over Kiki Bertens.

Coco’s fantastic week made her go up 30 places in the live rankings to conquer the 80th place. If the American beats Jelena Ostapenko in the final, she will gain 9 more positions. This means that the teenager has the opportunity to be ranked no.71 from next Monday.
