Stefanos Tsitsipas is getting better and better. The upcoming Greek achieved his first win on the main tour 2 years ago in Shanghai and now he seems to be destined to be a consolidated top10 player.
Stefanos is also growing a lot as a persona and as a player. Having great results and being able to keep them means having also a great team. During a recent interview in Shanghai, Stefanos recalls the time when it was only him and his father traveling all over the world while now he has a complete team helping him. Of course, this is also possible because of the prize money that Stefanos earns with his results. For example, the Greek is currently in the quarters in Shanghai and he has secured already a check of at least $184,000.
When I was traveling only with my dad
Recalling his recent past, Stefanos commented:
“[That were] good times. I actually think of them now. I was thinking about it a few days ago. Back then I used to travel with my dad only. Now I have a bigger team supporting me. It’s more like professional, I would call it.
I have seen an improvement in my game. I have seen also growth in me, too, in my life and also in my everything. So I have seen changes, and I’m learning every single day. I can’t wait to see how things will look in two years’ time from now.”
