Stefanos Tsitsipas, Sascha Zverev, and Dominic Thiem are consolidating their positions in the Year to Date rankings to strengthen their chances to qualify for the season’s finale in London.

After a fantastic start of the season, the Greek was struggling with his results after a below-par stint on grass and the American summer. After reaching the semifinals in Washington, the former world no.5 lost in the opening matches in Montreal, Cincinnati, New York, and Zhuhai. Finally, Stefanos found his way in Beijing where he reached the final 4 ahead of his clash against his Laver Cup teammate Sascha Zverev.
In terms of live rankings, Stefanos has consolidated his world no.7 position and the 6th place in the year to date rankings to increase his chances to qualify for the Finals in London.
Alexander Zverev’s live rankings
Sascha is finally finding his groove after an extremely complicated season. The German had many off-court problems following his lawsuit against his former agent Patricio Apey and a temporary break-up with his girlfriend, Olya Sharypova. Things started to take the right turn after the German won the decisive point for Team Europe in the recent Laver Cup. Sascha looks in a supreme form (again) in Beijing after he didn’t drop a single set during the week (so far).
With this run, Sascha consolidates his world no.6 status in the rankings, and he climbed 3 places in the year to date rankings to be no.8.
Dominic Thiem’s live rankings
The Austrian is also having the best season of his career after a horrible start. Dominic won his first ATP1000 Indian Wells before reaching yet another Roland Garros final. Thiem also won the title in Barcelona and Kitzbuhel, and he is currently in the semifinal in Beijing.
With his recent run in China, Dominic has consolidated his 5th place in the year to date rankings to be extremely close to qualifying for London.

Ranked no.7, the Greek has a 40-20 win-loss record in 2019. Tsitsipas is playing in Beijing where he toppled Dusan Lajovic 4-6 6-3 6-4, Nikoloz Basilashvili 4-6 6-3 6-2 and John Isner 7-63 6-3.
The Greek will face Zverev in the semifinal. The head to head is 2-1 for Tsitsipas.
