Ashleigh Barty ousts Saisai Zheng 6-3 6-7⁵ 6-2 in the 3^rd round in Beijing on Wednesday. Barty will play against Petra Kvitova in the quarter.

Barty had a strong start of this set after breaking Zheng in the 2^nd game (2-0) before consolidating her break and lead 3-0. That break resulted decisive for Barty to win the set (6-3) as no one dropped a serve anymore.
