Simona Halep furious against the WTA

Simona Halep is used to fight against everything and everybody, but she is not pleased about fighting against the WTA.

This is what the world no.1 said after reaching the semifinals in Montreal. In fact, the Romanian legend had to play 2 matches on Wednesday and she was extremely crossed for being scheduled to play the semifinal at 1 pm maintaining that she cannot have the necessary rest she deserved.

What Simona said

During the press conference, Simona commented

“If you look at the schedule, I think I’m the only one person and player who has the worst schedule during the week. I think this happens almost every tournament.

I saw that on Saturday I play at 1 p.m. So, I think the WTA is a little bit upset with me because they always try to put me down, I can say, in the schedule. And I’m very upset about this.”

My opponent has already six hours at the hotel resting, and I just finished the match, and I’m doing now these things [the press conference]. I’ll be very late again. [On Thursday], I played two matches.

“[On Saturday] I’m going to go on court, and I will try to give my best. I have nothing to lose. It’s a semifinal. So, I just go there, and I try to play.”

Interesting enough, the WTA cut the part when Simona complained about the schedules.

Simona will face Ashleigh Barty in the semifinal. Let’s see if she will have enough fuel in the tank.
