Zverev dismisses Medvedev in just 52 minutes

Sascha Zverev is in “unstoppable mode” in Toronto.

The seed no.2 was far too good for the world no. 68 Daniil Medvedev to concede just 5 games in a 52 minutes’ match (6-3 6-2). Zverev broke his opponent 3 times (100% the conversion rate), and he dropped just 4 points in total on his serve. Eventually, Sascha scored 56 points vs. Medvedev’s 30.

I feel well. ZVEREV

Sascha has won 7 consecutive matches right now, and he is getting more and more confidence to comment

“I feel good. I feel physically pretty well. I feel like I’m playing well. I get into a rhythm of playing matches one after another, and right now I’m in that rhythm.”

Next vs. Tsitsipas

Sascha will face Stefanos Tsitsipas in he quarters. The head to head is 1-0 for the German that has defeated Tsitsipas a few days ago in Washington 6-2 6-4.
