Simona Halep demolishes Rebecca Peterson 6-1 6-1 in the 1^st round in Beijing on Sunday after playing a superlative match to clash against Ekaterina Alexandrova in the 2^nd round.

Halep was in a great position at the beginning of the set to break Peterson in the 1^st game (1-0). Simona extended her lead after breaking Rebecca in the 5^th (4-1) and in the 7^th (6-1) game before winning the set.
