There haven’t been significant moves at the top of the WTA rankings as last week there were only a couple of “minor” tournaments in Nanchang and Moscow.
Therefore, Simona Halep is still leading the rankings with an advantage of 911 points over Caroline Wozniacki.
However, a huge jump in the rankings was made by 17-year0old Olga Danilovic after the Serbian won her maiden title in Moscow. Olga is now ranked no.112 (career high).
Good news in terms of rankings also to the other finalist in Moscow, Anastasia Potapova, that is also at a career high (135) after climbing up 69 places. More to come.
