Djokovic’s grandfather-in-law kidnapped

Novak Djokovic is currently getting ready for his North American swing after his fantastic title in Wimbledon.

Unfortunately, the former world no.1 had to deal with a huge distraction as his grandfather-in-law was kidnapped.

$2million as a ransom

Assailants broke into the house of 85-year-old Miloslav Radisavljevicm in central Serbia (Ljig), they kidnapped him, and they left him tied to a power pole where he was found by the police.

According to reports, the kidnappers contacted Nole’s uncle asking for $2million as a ransom.

According to Miloslav eventually he was robbed only of 220 euros and a cell phone.

The statement

Nole’s team released a statement saying that the family is “complete shock over what happened”
