153 places up for Serena Williams in the rankings. Halep still no.1

Serena Williams hasn’t won Wimbledon this year, but she must be happy about reaching the finals even if she was still not at her very best.

The former world no.1 is now up 153 places in the rankings to be the new world no.28.

Halep

Simona didn’t have a great run after she lost in the 3rd round at the Championships, but she is still leading the rankings with a decent margin.

Stephens

Among the other “winners”, Sloane Stephens lost as early as in the 1st round at the SW19, but with Muguruza losing a lot of points (she wasn’t able to defend her 2017 title), she gained 1 place to be ranked no.3 (career high).

Kerber

After winning Wimbledon, Angelique goes up 6 places to be ranked no.4.

Here the full rankings.
