Djokovic not worried by injury scare

Novak Djokovic seems to be back in “Serbinator mode.”

The former world no.1 has conceded only 6 games to his opponents in the first 2 rounds, and he is definitely only of the favorites to win this Wimbledon edition.

During his fantastic performance in the 2nd round against Horacio Zeballos (ended 6-1 6-2 6-3), Nole had to ask for the trainer for a problem to his knee. Fortunately, it seems that there is no concern about that.

No worries for my knee DJOKOVIC

In the post-match press conference, Djokovic commented

“It was a bad move during the point, and I felt my knee a little bit, I have been doing checkups now, and it seems it is nothing major. Tomorrow I will see at the practice session to see how it will be and hopefully it will be fine. If it were major, I would be pulling out from the tournament.

What I’m saying it’s most likely a twitch in the muscle which has affected the knee a little bit. But hopefully, it is nothing that will concern me.”

Next vs. Edmund

Nole will face Kyle Edmund in the 3rd round. The head to head is 3-1 for Djokovic, but the Brit defeated him in their last encounter in Madrid.
