Even if this was a clean win, the American wasn’t entirely happy with her tennis to comment
“There are so many things that I want to improve on, but that’s kind of how I always feel. I feel like I’m going in the right direction. This match was better than my first round. I just hope every match is better.”

Serena will face an in-form Kristina Mladenovic in the 3rd round. The head to head is 1-0 for the American.
