Murray committed to play in Wimbledon

Currently ranked no. 156, Andy Murray still trying to stage a proper comeback in 2018.

The Brit sensation has a grim 1-2 win-loss record this year after losing at the Queen’s Club to an in-form Nick Kyrgios and in the second round in Eastbourne t the hands of his friend Kyle Edmund.

However, Andy’s form wasn’t that bad, and apparently, his hip is not generating problems anymore.  Murray was not seeded this year in Wimbledon, and therefore he will have a rather tough draw to possibly face the following players

1R – Paire
2R – Shapovalov
3R – Del Potro
4R – Goffin
¼ – Nadal
½ – Zverev / Kyrgios / Djokovic

Why Andy will play

During a recent interview, Andy commented

“I think most likely yes. The thing is, I obviously don’t know every single day how things are going to be. I need to play it a little bit by ear. I can’t predict how I am going to feel in two days but if I feel like I do today in a couple of days, I will be playing providing there are no setbacks.”

The first round vs. Paire

Andy will face Benoit Paire in the first round that interesting enough was the last an that he defeated last year in Wimbledon. The head to head is 2-0 for Andy.

THIS MIGHT BE FAR AWAY, BUT…
