BEIJING. Davis hustles Niculescu in the qualifications of the China Open

Lauren Davis beats Monica Niculescu 6-3 4-6 6-4 in the qualifications in Beijing on Friday. Davis is going to play against Anastasia Potapova in the qualifications.

Davis had a boost of confidence at the beginning of the set after breaking Niculescu in the 1^st game (1-0). Yet, the set was not over yet and there was more work to do for the American to win the set since Monica managed to break back in the 2^nd (1-1) game.
