Djokovic concedes 5 games to Dimitrov!

Novak Djokovic is definitely on his way back!

The former world no.1 impresses at the Queen’s Club after dispatching Grigor Dimitrov in just 65 minutes.

The match

Both players had a strong start of the match holding their service games without much struggle until the 10th game. In fact, the Bulgarian dropped his serve after double-faulting twice on the first and the last point to concede the set to the Serbian (6-4). That was practically game-over with Dimitrov completely out of the match in the second set to lose his serve another couple of times. Eventually, Djokovic won the encounter 6-4 6-1.

The key of the match. DJOKOVIC

Nole admitted that the crucial part of the match was that 10th game to comment

“I guess I broke his resistance in that 10th game of the first set. He made a couple of crucial double faults that obviously allowed me to get ahead, but I thought I was just making him play in big moments, and I served well when I needed to.  So, it was a very good performance.”

Next vs. Mannarino

Nole will face the world no.26 Adrian Mannarino in the quarters. The head to head is 2-0 for Djokovic that has defeated the Frenchman twice on grass in Wimbledon without conceding a single set.
