Roger Federer plays a magnificent tournament in Stuttgart to clinch his 98th title displaying one of the best tennis of his fantastic career.
The Swiss legend played a perfect final against an excellent Milos Raonic that was serving at his very best.
Roger was also consistent on his serve for the entire encounter, and the rule of the game was about taking advantage of the few chances that he could get on the Canadian’s serve.
The first set was pretty smooth with Federer breaking Raonic as early as in the 3rd game (2-1) before winning the opener 6-4.
The second set went straight to the tiebreak the Federer won after winning the last 5 points (from 2-3 to 7-3). The final score was 6-4 7-6 (3).
After this event, Roger is 2 titles away from having 100 tournaments under his belt, and he is back to be the new world no.1.
