Why Nadal will be dangerous in Wimbledon. FEDERER

Rafael Nadal is well known as the King of Clay, but Roger Federer agrees that he is much more than that. The Spanish Legend has evolved a lot, and he is now playing much more aggressive tennis with frequent runs at the net. This means the world no.1 has many more options, especially when playing in Wimbledon.

During a recent interview, Roger explained why he thinks that Rafa will be one of the men to beat at the SW19 even if he has recently withdrawn his participation from the ATP500 at Queens.

Federer commented

“He’ll be in great shape for Wimbledon.

Otherwise, I haven’t thought too much about who could be favorite. Rafa’s won Wimbledon twice, so he’s no one-trick pony.

He’s become better from year to year. He’s playing more aggressive and better on fast surfaces.

He’s not only the king of clay; he can play well everywhere. Then you also have Cilic, Del Potro and, I hope, Novak will come back strong.

He has already shown good tennis this year. I also hope that Murray and Stan will come back.”

Nadal has reached the final 5 times in Wimbledon, and he has won the title on 2 occasions in 2008 and 2010.
