Novak Djokovic is one of the most gracious “losers” on tour. Even if the Serbian legend suffered from a very tough loss against the world no.72 Marco Cecchinato in the Roland Garros quarters, Nole didn’t spare compliments for his conqueror.
However, the disappointment was so big that Djokovic couldn’t contain his emotions during a bizarre press conference soon after the match. First, Djokovic refused to have the press conference in the “main” room; then he started to give concise replies while he appeared to be in enormous distress.
At a certain point, the former world no.1 even expressed his doubts about his possible participation to the grass season, but again he appeared indeed out of sorts, and everything needs to be confirmed.
He will bounce back.
