TOO FUNNY. Federer talking about putting his pants backward during Wimbledon ceremony!

Roger Federer is having a lovely time off as he decided not to compete during the clay court season to focus on grass. The Maestro had a nice interview with the GQ Magazine discussing a bit of everything. There was a lot of focus on style, and Roger revealed a hilarious episode that occurred during the 2006 Wimbledon ceremony after he defeated Rafael Nadal in 4 sets in the final.

The pants are on the wrong side!

Roger conceded that one of the most embarrassing moments of his career was back to that day to reveal

“Maybe putting my pants on backward in the Wimbledon ceremony! Back in 2005 or 2006, I was so excited I won, I wanted to put on the whole outfit that we’d made together.

I went to receive the trophy, and as I walk down, I’m a bit nervous, and as I put my hands in my pockets, I realize that the pockets are going backward. I was like, ‘It’s too late! I can’t change them anymore!’ I lifted the trophy, and the pants were on backward.

You could hardly see it, but I think one British media picked it up and were like, ‘What’s going on? He’s got the zipper at the back.’ That was quite embarrassing!”

Roger being Roger.

Do not miss the pictures (you can see in the last pic that he took out the long pants after a while).

WRONG WAY ROGER, WRONG WAY!
