Novak Djokovic is definitely on his way back.
The Serbian is slowly finding his groove in Paris to beat the world no.155 Jaume Munar in straight set.
The talented Spaniard (and Rafael Nadal’s “protege'”) had a moment of glory after he broke Djokovic in the very first game, but then the former world no.1 won the following 4 games to lead 4-1. Eventually, Munar came back to bring the affair to the breaker, but Djokovic was too strong to win it at 1. Finally, Djokovic won the following 2 sets without much struggle. The final score was 7-6 (1) 6-4 6-4.
Nole has also won the first match against Dutra Silva in straight sets 6-3 6-4 6-4.
Next vs. Bautista Agut
Nole will face Roberto Bautista Agut in the 3rd round. The head to head is 6-1 for Djokovic,3-0 on clay.
