Dimitrov has a solid start of his Roland Garros campaign

No problems for Grigor Dimitrov

in Paris that defeated the world no.182 Mohamad Safwat in the Roland Garros 1^st round.

The Bulgarian sensation was meant to face Viktor Troicki in the opener, but the Serbian had to withdraw at the last moment because of a problem to his back. Therefore, Viktor was replaced by Safwat, a lucky loser that failed to qualify for the main draw after he lost to Andreozzi 6-4 6-4. Dimitrov made a quick work of the Egyptian to win 6-1 6-4 7-6 (1).

Grigor will face the world no 57 Jared Donaldson in the 2^nd round. They have never played each other so far.
