Fantastic news as Novak Djokovic confirmed his participation in both Tokyo and Shanghai.
The Serbian sensation wasn’t sure if he was fit to play during the Asian swing as he was struggling with his left shoulder for weeks. Eventually, Novak confirmed his presence in Japan and China after a couple of successful training sessions.

Eventually, the Serbian sensation confirmed that he will play in Asia. The ATP500 in Beijing will commence next week while the ATP1000 will take place the week after.
Rafael Nadal is expected not to compete in Asia and therefore if Djokovic wins both events he will get 1500 points to be very close to the Spaniard in the YTD rankings. At the moment, the Rafa is leading the year to date rankings by 1960 point.
