Roger Federer is considered by many the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time). However, Roger has a different opinion as according to him it’s Serena Williams to be the Greatest not only among women but “overall.”

Why Serena is the Greatest

Jason Gay from the WSJ Magazine wrote an interesting profile of Roger Federer covering a bit of everything.

Part of this profile is Roger’s opinion about Serena. The Swiss commented

“It’s been fascinating to watch. She had a totally different upbringing.

I came up through Switzerland with the federation, she did it with her dad and her sister.

It’s an amazing story unto itself and then she became one of the greatest, if not the greatest tennis player of all time.”

When asked if his opinion about Serena was restricted to women’s tennis, he replied “Overall.”

That’s a flattering one!
