Simona Halep is currently focused on winning her title in Rome, but in between her training, she also had the fantastic opportunity of meeting Andrea Bocelli.
The occasion was a benefit concert organized at the Foro Italico by the Internazionali BNL d’Italia with the Andrea Bocelli Foundation. The aim was to empower people and communities in situations of poverty, illiteracy, distress due to illness and social exclusion by promoting and supporting national and international projects that improve the overcoming of these barriers and the expression of their full potential.
Simona was elated with the opportunity to tweet “Andrea Bocelli #thebest #Roma.”
The Romanian had to get back to her routine after meeting the singer as she will have an extremely tough opener in Rome against Naomi Osaka.
