Sascha Zverev triumphs in Munich to defend his title after defeating Philipp Kohlschreiber in straight sets.

This final was pretty straightforward as the world no.34 looked unable to cope with the heavy artillery of the 21-year-old.

The most important part of the match was when Zverev won 5 consecutive games to reverse a 2-3 deficit in a 6-3 1-0 lead. In the second set, after an exchange of breaks in the 3rd and 4th games (1-2 and 2-2), it was Sascha to find the right rhythm again to win the match 6-3 6-3 in just 71 minutes.

This is Sascha’s 7th career title, the 1st of this season. More to come for the world no.3.

Besides the nice price money (almost 89,000 euro), Sascha brings home fantastic BMW i8 Roadster.
