Sascha Zverev reaches the final in Munich after defeating the world no.22 Hyeon Chung in straight sets.

Sascha didn’t start the match in the best possible way to face a 0-3 in the very beginning. Then, the German found his groove to clinch the following 5 games and lead 5-3. However, the set was not over as Chung fought back to make it even (5-5). Eventually, it was Zverev to break the South Korean again at 15 (6-5) before holding his serve and win the opener 7-5.

In the second set, Chung imploded entirely and he lost 5 consecutive games after leading 1-0 (1-5), and finally Zverev won the match 7-5 6-2.

The final

Sascha will face the world no.34 Philipp Kohlschreiber in the final. Philipp leads Sascha 2-1 in H2H matches, but the 21-year-old is definitely the favorite to defend his title in Munich, and win another BMW!
