Simona Halep will have to battle through a tough draw if she wants to win her third consecutive title in Madrid after her triumphs in 2016 and 2017.

The draw is packed with all the top10 players, and the Romanian has a couple of tough customers on her way to a possible final as she may face Pliskova in the quarters and Muguruza in the semis.
